OUR PHILOSOPHY

The meta-cognitive coaching process nurtures the natural curiosity of each child as they meet rigorous curriculum standards. The constructivist philosophy, on which A School for Children, Inc. is founded, allows each child to construct their individual framework for learning which results in increased content absorption. Most academic work is done on a non-graded basis. This means that a child is encouraged, indeed expected, to learn skills at a pace appropriate to that student regardless of standardized norms associated with grade levels
