In addition to teaching basic skills in the content areas, A School for Children promotes development in music, art, and physical education. Our curriculum is based on national standards in all content areas; therefore, our students typically perform well on any appropriately administered standardized test. Most learning occurs in one-to one coaching sessions with our coach/facilitators. Thus, students’ individual needs are noted, met and exceeded. Books are but one resource to learning.

Our students engage in project-based inquiries in the world of digital information. Oral presentations, demonstrations and simulation exercises allow students to participate in hands-on authentic learning opportunities. Students learn by doing at CCI– A School for Children, Inc.
