… learning environment that is authentic, relevant, impartational and impactful. As coaches, we facilitate learning at ASC/VHSA. Our meta-cognitive coaching process nurtures the natural curiosity of each child. Our constructivist paradigm, undergirded by the Lamãd Hebraic philosophy that says that, “The teacher has not taught until the child has learned,” respects the unique frameworks for learning that each child brings to the learning environment. Our philosophy assures increased content absorption for every child. Most academic work is completed in a multi-age, non-graded environment. This means that a child is encouraged and indeed expected to learn skills at a pace that is appropriate to the individual student regardless of standardized norms associated with grade level.
